The UT System Digital Library was awarded a FY2003 LSTA Library Cooperation Grant by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC). The grant funded a librarian position to be charged with planning and implementing a collaborative virtual reference service for distance learners throughout the UT System. Joe Dobbs is continuing as the Virtual Reference Coordinator in FY2004.
This site was created to provide information about the UT Collaborative Reference Service and to faciliate informed discussion among participating components. The site is intended to be used in conjunction with the OFFCAMP List to allow each UT component to access, evaluate, and contribute to the research and planning of the collaborative service.
