• 3 times to evaluate:

  • Before: baseline, good topics, right level
  • During: demonstrate skills, immediate feedback
  • After: lapsed time, transfer to new situations

• Keep evaluations brief and focus on specific aspects of the class

• Types:

  • Surveys and questionnaires
  • Tests and questions
  • Observations
