Drawing on the well-established programs and existing cooperative endeavors of the UT System Libraries, one of the programmatic areas of the UT System Digital Library is to work collaboratively with the UT System's distance education initiative and the component libraries to provide electronic and traditional library services in support of distance learners.

To explore the ways the UT System libraries are presently serving distance learners, a brief list of questions was sent to the component libraries on January 28, 1998. Above are links to the list of questions and a tabular summary of the responses. UT System Libraries who have not responded to the survey are invited to do so online at any time.
